Confirmation

confirm not conform

The process of Confirmation is one of the gifts we receive from the historical church — a time of exploring the foundations of the Christian faith and its essentials.

Confirmation helps us identify what is central and non-negotiable in the Christian faith, confirming what it is that baptized Christians believe. At the same time, it helps us avoid the ways in which we conform to the claims that are at odds with the Christian life — ways that would make us unrecognizable to the faithful who have gone before us.

DOSA’s Confirmation process is called Confirm not Conform (CnC).

DOSA’s CnC process involves:

  • A weekly podcast you are encouraged to listen to.

  • A weekly Zoom meeting (over 20 weeks or so) where discussions can take place.

  • A liturgical confirmation service.

    • This is a Eucharistic service

    • You will have hands laid on you by bishops

Confirmation helps us all be on the same page about what it is we believe, so if you want to be part of this process, please complete the form below.

Space is limited so there may be a wait list for the next session.
